He was out here many years back and made a comment about "peeing a pint and using a gallon to flush it". Immediately condemned by the local fat backsides who polish seats for a living as being "out of touch" and "unhygienic ramblings etc."....
Now we've all got bogs with dual flush systems to save water.
Charlie takes after him a bit and when swimming at St Kilda (I think) back in the 70s said that "It looked, smelled and tasted like sewerage".
And it did and of course he was roundly condemned as being a Pommy snob etc by all the local fat arses.
Now mains sewerage is every where and even Port Philip bay beaches are cleaner as a result.
Good on those that still have the courage to say what they think even if it upsets some people in high places...especially if it upsets them.
