Naming cars with people's names makes me angry!

'Twas the only car naming meme I could find at short notice :) I'm not his biggest fan either.

Really interesting what some people come up with.

Some cars have character, others just don't do they.

How can one expect their car to come when called, if it doesn't have a name?

I find it more annoying when people name their children after cars. Their was some kids in the paper a while back called "Monaro" and another one was "Torana" and i think Brock or Bathurst were in there as middle names as well :confused:

I agree, monaro and torana are silly names for anything :p

We have a tiny Japanese car that we've had for 22 years - we call it Shu-Car because of its plates and because it is about the size of a shoe and getting in it is like putting on a beloved old smelly shoe.

My sister-in-law taught at Canberra Girls Grammar. In one of her classes, she had a Mercedes and a Porsche.

I assumed that she meant "Portia" as in "The Merchant of Venice", but she assured me it was "Porsche".
