Informed Son that Telstra would not trace the call, by now there had been another extortion and life threatening call.
Rang Telstra, they said police had to officially request the phone number, all they needed was a case file#, which would have allowed Telstra to Tape the second threatening call.
Couple of nights later AFP ring my son and tell him his car is on fire in front of his house and he should attend. 15 minutes later my son arrived Fire Brigade was gone so were the AFP, spoke to all the neighbours, the AFP never questioned a single one. Next AFP rings and says to get the burnt car off the front of his house. Informed AFP that this idiots was threatening to bring his bikie gang around and kill us, son, wife and 2 babies. AFP advice, call us when they're kicking the door in, we can be there in 3 minutes, ****ing heroes
Moved my son to my place South Coast NSW and then we start getting threats from this thug again.
Went to local police and courthouse to apply for AVO's, they (NSW Police) thought it was a joke, no one wanted to help till we met with the top cop in this area, he kicked things along, this idiot posted pics of himself holding an illegal automatic military weapon and made more threatening statements. AVO's were granted, NSW TRG squad raided his property, served the AVO's and arrested him for having over $100,000 worth of stolen property.
This clown was then grabbed by AFP for attacking and assaulting a Moslem man and his toddler son, he crashed his car ito this blokes car spat in his and the kids face and then called the cops, same night as the Martin Place siege.
Fronted Court next day, Moslem man and family granted AVO's, NSW cops arrested him as he left Canberra court, fronted Queanbeyan court and remanded without bail.
NOW if the AFP and the first NSW police we spoke to had have acted none of this **** would have happened, this is not a rare case, unless you unrefutable evidence, video, they do not want to know, the statement we heard most, "Sorry, we can't do anything unless we catch him in the act, total bull****, Regards Frank.

My bum if far from shiny, but for every arrest I make there is at least 2 hours typing.. Thats 2 hours on my bum... but I have checked it is not shiny. I have for the last 29 years chased up all the information I can to ensure I get whatever facts I can to get to the truth. I do however expect people to supply some sort of evidence if they make an allegation.. not necessarily all the evidence but something at least. In some cases what you are saying is true we need to "catch them in the act" --
but to imply we sit around doing stuff all while people are being ripped off or assaulted etc is pretty ripe... especially when in this state (and most others) the staff actually doing the job is cut down further and further and the paperwork increases so our workload is actually about 50% more over the past 5 years and yet our staff has been cut from 7 to 5.... anyway as I pointed out, generalisations are uncalled for....as they get people off side easily.
When all is said and done, it was just a nudge to point out that your comment had been noticed and I didnt quite agree with it. I am sure you werent pointing at anyone etc in particular.
i understand where you're coming from but thats getting into civilians policing civilians, and civilians potentially putting themselves in harms way to get evidence that might not be permissible anyways.Quote:

Not quite civilians policing civilians, the evidence required here should have been meet with a statement and the incoming call log That would allow the AFP to monitor call logs to Tank jnr,s phone not necessarily listen in or tape them. I too have reported things to the locals and not seen any action until followed up by a call higher up the ladder but this case with threats, outlaw MC gang, burning car etc seems some one did not do their job:(
i know subscription fee is not much, but i dont have even that spare at the moment, with bills, car breaking, plus paying for vet to have fancy cars LOL. will get there eventually LOL
