No, seriously, Carolyn, I had no idea. I don't start watching TV until about 11pm and it's straight onto the recorded Foxtel programmes (usually History, Nat Geo, UKTV, or Discovery channels that I have stacked up. I'll watch an hour or two of TV trying to reduce the backlog (which I can never do). I fast forward through all the rubbish.

Anyway, I hope you all get through it safely and without too much damage. I've only ever experienced a couple of cyclones, one on Norfolk Island when I lived there and once on board a ship in the Pacific.

I'm outta here. I have to go to the garage and make up an aerial cable for the Codan. I don't like to make too much noise out there after 11pm.

I pity those up north, hope you are all OK.

Here we went through Wanda in '74,only category 1 though, with lots and lots of rain.

We were actually on Fraser island when it went through, not much fun in tents

Yes, only steady rain here in Brissie so far but I fear for those in the path of this around Gladstone and Hervey Bay and inland through Monto and that area, its going to be a very windy night for them if the forcasts are correct.
