i think you can the same tyres with different speed ratings.....hence why one place sells a tyre a hell of a lot cheaper than the next place.
no one checks the speed rating....only the brand, size and tread get looked at.
the higher the speed rating the more it will cost.

Seen it happen, and worst part is many customers just dont care....
if it looks the same....it must be the same.
