Hi desertBug, I only found out the hard way last night.

You first have to upload your pics to a web host, EG. your web site.
Then when you post your reply or topic, at the point where you want the pic, in your posting, click on the IMG in the info bar at the top of the page.

Next enter the address of your web page followed by / then if there is a folder with your pics in it, enter the folder name followed by / then the pic name.

With the address done, click on the IMG again.

That should do it, and when it doesn't work don’t blame me. It only took me 3 hours to get it right and then the only problem was that I had used a capital letter in the name on my web site but used a lower case letter in the address in the posting.

    Cheers and best of luck

    Hi Desert Bug,

to have a picture in the forum it has to be somewhere on the net first.

... either in the galleries here... or saved somewhere on the net that is can be accessed via a URL ( the address you put in a browser)

    so to get this:

I just type the following: ( hope this works)

    <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

    Hope that helps,

    HI again...

if you start with what I quoted above and add <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'>border="0" />

    [/b][/quote]

    you will get your picture...

Just as well I look after networks for a living... not web pages ops: ops:

    hope that helps!

If this is all a bit confusing check out our FAQ section.

    Desertbug,

As others have said your pics need to be "on the internet" eg here in the gallery or on some other site.

Once you have achieved this view the pic you want to post in your browser right click and select properties

Once the URL for the image is visible select it and copy

next open your reply window and click the Img button (2nd from right)

Once you click it will place the [img] tag into your reply and change to Img* (waiting for the close image tag), now paste the image location after the tag - the reply should look something like this

now just click on the Img* button to close the tags it will place a [/img]

Have a look at it in preview if all OK submit

Bytemark - hope you dont mind me using your example
