Stop whinging, mate! I'm further North than you, the sun is shining, flowers are out and the cranes (migrating birds) are back... spring is in the air! Whoohoo Did I mention we are having about 6 degrees (but we had ice on the road this morning when I was cycling to work).
Well, we reached Nuremberg and my spirits have rallied. We've had blue sky and mid to high teens temps although todays forecast is -4 to 12!
I also saw a very tidy Defender LXV but I don't seem to be able to get photos from the camera to the room computer ?:(
Steve
It's been cold here too, Steve. I had to pull the doona up last night. :(
I kid you not!
I had an Aussie ask me, the other day, "Does the sun rise in the East in the Northern hemisphere?"
I honestly thought they were joking until I looked at them:o
Just to bore the **** out of everyone, I'm in Vien (Vienna) at present for the next couple of days.
I hope everything is good in Oz.
Steve
I hope you are enjoying the music of Vienna :D

Righto, you caring mob! I'm home!
The dogs were both very excited but somewhat aloof at the same time.
The pikkies are of a very nice Defender.
I saw some really tricky military Landies but was warned several times about taking photos of them or their occupants. One very kind, heavily armed German soldier even escorted me to about 200m from the vehicle even though I explained to him about AULRO.
I do have a photo of him & the Landy (taken sneakily by the good woman) but I'm respecting his request & not posting on a public site.
They are still on a fairly high alert, poor buggers.
All in all the 4 weeks went well (better than I anticipated) but it's sooo good to be home.
Steve
Good to have you back Steve, I suppose you're looking forward to going again next year. ;)
