Looks a bit like the Defender replacement should be (but probably won't be). Of course, whether it is just looks, or is also built up to match its looks .......

And does it meet all Euro specifications? Being US origin, quite possibly not.

Jeep has had several really interesting concepts and projects over the last years, some of them focusing on the company's roots and heritage. The more interesting vehicles have even got pretty good reviews, as in Overland Journal (an US publication, though, but it is definitely a serious one). Even the looks aren't that bad (for an American vehicle anyway). As it is a Diesel, it probably will be sold in Europe as well.
With all this said, I am convinced that the Jeep pictured will deliver and is not just a fake or poseur. Would be great to see a similar effort and attitude coming out of Solihull now.

P.S.: I did notice that the truck has the spare mounted underneath , a feature I detest. Maybe it really is built for suburbia instead?!?

There are people who spend all weekend cleaning the car.
And there are people who drive Discovery.

Its diesel powered so not likely a soccer mum type vehicle, or for US at all.
Dana 44's and 35" rubber looks promising.

I'd consider buying one, Interestingly the Rear Door hinges are on the correct side for RHD vehicles, so you can load stuff from the footpath side. unlike FJ Cruiser which have them on the USA side

I like it, would seriously consider it, with a bit more information. Oh, and a lotto win. 2.8 T/D ,who makes the engine? Bob

that would either be VM or Fiat

this story on it refers to the Defender going out of production

I definitely would want the steel wheels.

and with the Toyota troopy going out of production there is going to be an instant market.
