Just had a quick look, council can do stuff about unregistered cars making it unsightly, but IMHO if they are registered they can't do jack. If that was the case they would prosecute every large family whose kids have cars. I know in the future we will have 7+ cars, a trailer, a boat etc, parked regularly with 5 kids.

One suggestion is if he is on your western side is plant a hedge.;) it will cool your house in the arvo giving shade, and he won't see the sun until 10.30am.
They can grow to around 4m high and as long as you shape it he's an enviromental vandal if he wants it cut down.

If you desire a change of scenery ,try the area of Qld where I currently reside , your issues would disappear. It seems that the council turns a blind eye to parking on the footpath and nature strip. Corner blocks afford more room . I have seen some with half a dozen or so around the property edge , and not one within the drive and car port. Plenty of room for entertaining !

In my local town here just up the road there is a very, very unsightly and unkept house which people have been complaining to council about for years and nothing has happened.
Cheers, Mick.
