A favourite piece of the country for me. During my time on Patrol boats, Part of the run ashore was going to the park with the pearling lugger on display, behind a fence, forming teams of 2, running about 50 metres to the fence, jumping it, getting on the deck of the lugger, climbing the rigging, first to put the hand on the top of the mast, was the winner. All timed. The other part was the drive back to the wharf, in the paddy wagon. All in fun, of course. For some reason, when we were visiting, the local police parked their wagon at that spot. Bob
