Anyone who likes to read but hasn't read "Saving Private Sarbi" should do so.

    • Powerful, dramatic, heartwarming, this is the true story of Sarbi, the scruffy black Labrador-cross trained by the Australian Army as an explosives detection dog for the most dangerous combat mission ..
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

I love reading these kind of animal stories. A book I read recently was called "From Baghdad With Love" and is the story of a puppy called Lava that was rescued in war torn Iraq and against all odds was taken back to the USA. Loved that book, it was a heart warming read.

Here is a U-Tube clip of Lava in the USA.

Another good read is the story of "Horrie The War Dog". Set in WW2 Horrie was also found as a puppy and saved many a life as he could hear the German planes coming and gave advanced warning to the Australian soldiers. Horrie was smuggled into Australia and lived a full life in retirement, eventually dying of old age in the early 1950's.
