    These are not being suppled by the UK government rather purchased from a second hand vehicle dealer who picked them up from a government auction 10 years ago.

    They are 30 to 40 years old and better than nothing. My understanding is that they are not mine proof so only for use in secure areas.

    There will of course have been UK government approval to export them though.

    They are a Bedford truck chassis with a lightly armoured box to transport troops behind combat areas.

    Put together as a cost cutting exercise in the seventies. Idea being to save costs on running an APC.
