    Leyland Badges?

I removed these 2 Leyland Badges from the scuttle of a 2 door range rover.

I've not seen this badge on a range rover before so I assume they were not original equipment.

Anyone know what car they do belong on?

    Part Number is HYD0146.

I don't remember them fitted to Rangerovers, but they were fitted to late Series 3, so I would be very surprised if they were not also fitted to contemporary Rangerovers. It was only for a few years, though, perhaps late seventies to mid eighties.

They were fitted to Australian assembled* Range Rovers from about 1981 to 1984 when all Range Rover assembly reverted back to Solihull. About the same time as the 4 door Range Rovers were introduced.

I've seen those badges (or similar at least?) on a four door Range Rover before but I can't recall seeing them on any other?
