You're all wandering off again. The road is easy to identify by googling Dalhousie Springs and looking at one of the pictures on one link near the top of the results. The exact location isn't important, I took the picture in 1996 and didn't have a GPS yet. Which road was I on?
The road from Mt Dare down through Christmas well - Opossum waterhole - Dalhousie.
but honestly it could be the road from Hamilton through Pedirka (as others have said) to Dalhousie,
or it could be plenty of other roads through that area (or plenty of SA for that matter)

Spring Creek Delta Track
It is indeed the first choice, the road most easily travelled from the last available fuel stop for a petrol 2WD heading across the desert. I tried to leave enough clues...

The most popular way in to the springs is from Mt Dare Station. This track can be very corrugated . It also gets slippery and muddy after rain!

I reckon you're using this thread to find the locations of the photo's in you're photo album so you can label them.
You could be right, I don't know the local name for the Mt Dare to Dalhousie road so you'll all have to work it out for yourselves. :)
Haha, I know exactly what road I was on, we after all made it all the way to Birdsville via the Rig Road with four 2WDs in a bunch, except me who did part of the French Line to Poeppel's corner.
