Not Black Mountain but getting closer
The pub at the turnoff has been there about 20 years. I am after the name of the mountain which is the name of the road. The road travels about 20 km up the mountain in State Forest. Great little drive. The highway it runs of connects Mossman and Mareeba.

Not in Queensland and not south of Longreach. It's a sacred site associated with a food-related festival, it is right next to this particular track and can't be missed by anyone travelling there.
