    This species of pine grow to about 80m high.

    Ponderosa Pine is the tallest species of Pine I believe - they grow to that height. Not sure where the pic is though.

    The tallest Ponderosa is 81.79m and the tallest one of this species is reportedly 83.45m.

    So not the Ponderosa
    And not Meryla or Wingello Baz

    This species also has the longest cones of any pine tree, although not the biggest due to their slender shape.

    Hmm ... must be Sugar Pines (Pinus lambertiana) then and you must be in the Tumut-Batlow area ... my guess is Laural Hill (Bago SF) NSW.
