Yes Deano has it, Silverton cemetery is correct , but why the missus is buried in Bairnsdale is a bit of a mystery !!

Not Mary Kathleen but on the other side of the country. The clue here is the 80+ year old 'cobble stone' road.

Definitely no driveway.

This cobble stoned road road was built as part of an original 'work for the dole' program in the 1930's depression. It upgraded part of of a mail route to a remote WA goldfield. Charles Kingsford Smith (of later aviation fame) was one of the mail contractors that used this road. This road is now abandoned but is intersected by the main road to a major WA National Park and is clearly marked on most GPS's. As the photo's show it is still in very good condition although it's significance is now mostly forgotten.
