Yes. Thanks.
Need to get the turbo spinning on this one so here's some more clues:-
It's in an arc between TB 200 & TB 270 degrees from the national capital and as indicated previously, within 100km, as he crow flies.
Paddy's River Falls? The terrain and vegetation look similar.
Not Paddy's River Falls - they're a single drop.
We travelled north from Paddy's Falls to visit these on the same day.
Buddong Falls? I haven't been there though.
Correct.
We often return from the south through that area to avoid the Hume Hwy as much as possible. Paddy's Falls, Paddy's River Dam, Buddong Falls, cross the Tumut River at Talbingo Dam then along the Goobarraganda River and Wee Jasper before hitting the Hume at Yass. The route actually follows the Hume & Hovell track pretty closely.
Enough reminiscing .............. Where to now Graeme?

Name the homestead. The picture was taken from a nearby sand ridge.
Looks a bit like the Strzelecki area, I don't recall the chimney but it's not the old Merty Merty Homestead is/was it?
North from Merty Merty, different desert.
Durham. Not said with confidence, the chimney doesn't look right.
