I'm only on my phone, so the pics not great, but is that water in the distance there, like a bay or something?

I can't see water in any of the pictures Marcus, it looks like a mountain range in the background of the last one.
Any means, fair or foul eh.
Seriously mate, apologies, I didn't mean to give you a bum steer. :oops2:
More Clues: the streets in the town carry the Greek family names of those who assisted Aussie soldiers in the retreat from Europe in WW2.
It is located west of Perth ( but quite a part of WA is)
Leeman, WA?
No Roger, not Leeman.
The town name is an anglicised version of the name of the town and monastry where Aussie soldiers were sheltered on Crete. The loclality was developed by one of the returned soldiers who was protected on Crete. The Orthodox Church was built by him as well.
It is hundreds of km south of Leeman but you're the closest so far :-)
