It is not a special purpose aerodrome in Cardinia.
It's a long way to the north west

Debruiser is onto it, The yellow / red plane looks like a model of the HS Hawk , the white one is an Epic Victory - there were only 16 built - I doubt any are (real ones) in Australia.

It looks like this one http://www.rcuniverse.com/market/item.cfm?itemid=857675 There is a clue in the ad, A bloke from Australia has made an enquiry !!

So, I guess I am now closer than Cardinia but do I need to go further NW or have I overshot the mark?
It's usual practice to give some indication as to how we are going.

Can you actually have jet powered model aeroplanes ? Ones that actually fly ? i would have thought (or not thought ) it would be too hard to make a viable small scale lightweight jet engine.

There's been a very good and out of the way, but easily accessible model aerodrome at Cardinia for many years.
