Also met up with some old Sydney neighbours Barry and Heather that just happened to be passing and saw my Defender

Murray River headwaters , not sure which is closer Corryong or Towong, Vic .... (walk across to NSW )
Dart River campsite.
Very very close, and yes walk over to NSW, and Khancoban is closer than Corryong, Towong is further away, but this place is a location, no town anymore, go up river a bit more, there's a bridge over to NSW at this campsite.Quote:
