That's the one, Mt Finke it is. Stuart said in his journal regarding the view
"nothing meets the eye save a dense scrub as black and dismal as midnight... a fearful country"
But the view is pretty good from the top in my opinion.

OK This will have to be a quick one as I'll be out of internet coverage in less than 24 hrs. I'll post three pics, taken last Tuesday evening looking roughly north, east and south.

Time for a clue or two I think ....................
The headland on the horizon in the southern view is at the entrance to a significant commercial area/harbour and the headland on the horizon in the northern view is at the entrance to a significant aquatic recreational area.
The eastern view contains the name of the location from where the photos were taken.
That should be sufficient for someone to be successful before I leave at 6am tomorrow.
Long Reef?
It only took me 4200 posts but finally I've got one. :arms:
Bear with me, I'll put something up tonight when I get home.
Cheers,
Jon
OK here it is. This was a difficult choice as it's probably my one and only chance at this. I was very tempted to choose something very obscure so that the rest of you could take 4200 posts to guess it. However I've gone for something that shouldn't be too hard, but hopefully not too easy:
