We stopped for lunch at that crossing in March 2013 and there was no deep hole there then. Must have had a flood since then which scoured it out.

I was showing MLD (Forum Member) around area and he and another got stuck coming out of that hole (opposite direction to pic shown). I pulled them out no worries but my pic doesn't show the steepness of the bank that the pic was taken from.
Stefan has a video of this incident somewhere on the Forum, Regards frank.

I'm catching up to Roger, watch out. :D

I'll just have to duck out and take another photo. I'll post something up in the morning.
