If it's WC&IC as well as electricity commision then firstly it must be in NSW. Secondly it's probably related to the MIA and Snowy Mountains Hydro, so somewhere in southern NSW.
Judging by the trees its in an area that's been logged and it looks a bit mountainy. So I would say somewhere in south-east NSW but on the western side of the great divide.
How about somewhere around Tumbarumba?

Tumbarumba is SW of our destination and within 50kms.
I'm after the name of the hut which is the same as a nearby waterfall.
How about Buddong hut
That's the one - Built in 1921 as part of the stream gauging station and was used as such until 1977. Was refurbished by Forrestry/Parks in 1986.Quote:
