You are about a days 'high country travel' too far to the NW Martyn.
Think east of Cynthia Range.
And I'm looking SW.

its been a while , like 35 years since Ive been there !

NE of Mt Wellington.
There is a significant valley between me and the range I'm looking at with a well known river.
Think of the 'features' as Bushies work and iconic track.

35 years is too long goingbush, you'll have to return sooner rather than later.
