The mountain looks like Frenchmans Cap.
If it is the only body of water I can see at that altitude is Lake Plimsoll. Is the camera facing NW or is the view from the NW?

Hi,
Camera is pointing NW
You would have to be at 500m above Lake Plimsol to see Frenchman's on the horison.

Hi,
Eight hours, time for a hint:
She was born Chiara Offreduccio on the 16th July 1194 and died on the 11th August 1253 and was one of the first to follow Saint Francis of Assisi.
I would still like the name of the mountain if possible, or Zeus will be homeless.
(according to Mr G at least)
Cheers
Oh, so it's My Olympus and the body of water is Lake St Clair. With the clue I can recognise it straight away. Had one the best days walking ever going around the back of Olympus to Lake Petrarch. Typical Tasmania, mud up to the knees and button grass up to the waist, but an unforgettable day.
Hi,
Yep a really nice area once you get away from the tourists, they don't venture much past the coffee shop.
Experienced a coach load arriving one morning, nice cool quiet morning interrupted by the rattly diesel bus, hisss of air brakes etc and a loud New York accent declaring "Oh Ethel, look ad all da cute liddle kwarnteses!"

Where to now?
Cheers
Oh dear, this one looks tricky. Where was I when I took this? I give you a little clue, I had walked to the top of a named feature with a lookout on it. Acrually I'm feeling generous so I'll give you another one. I'm just about to jump on a plane to Hobart. I'm going to fly over this in about an hour.

Clear hills Track lookout
Hi,
the landscape looks Central Highlands, but the skyline has me puzzled.
Cheers
If you mean the Clear Hills track that leads to Craig's Hut, you're not far away. We are a little to the north.
If you mean the central highlands of Tasmania, the skyline would be puzzling. We are quite a bit to the north and across a body of water. [bigsmile1]
