What a fluke, Cobbold Gorge was a guess! I haven't been there yet,
but if you've been to this spot you should know the place !!

It is just an outcrop in the old track to the gold fields from Cooktown. Notorious spot for getting ambushed by natives. Near Maytown. Not even sure if you can drive there anymore. Might have to walk a long way or helicopter. You can still get to Maytown from Palmer River side.Quote:
