Not collins weir .In 1920 there was 5 hotels a baker a cordial factory ,2 stores, post office, hospital, billard hall, In 1948 the last hotel was removed .The post office in 1955.The pic of the dam is from a later era 60--70 i am guessing with the location partly in the clue
