It's a western flowing river and, due to recent rain, flow is a bit higher than usual.
Guessing here, but that's what clues are for, right? The Yass river, somewhere near Bungendore, perhaps? The country in the background originally out me in mind of Goulburn, so I guess I could have been close. Maybe??Quote:

The Yass River is too far south.
The Kowmung River is closer, only has the one crossing (except for the gauging station weir not far U/S from the Burragorang starage and flows to the east so that's out.
Oberon is getting closer but need to head almost due north from there.
