That's it Roger, IMO the best camping spot in the whole NP but most bypass it as it's not actually sign posted as a camp site (actually not signposted at all). Turn off at the old St Vigdis ruins and drive in about 1Km.

Free camping and a nicer alternative to the commercial Tomato Island caravan park just up the road :)

Yep, we loved it there, in fact the whole of Limmen was pretty amazing. Didn't have enough time there though, so we'll go back and spend 2 weeks or so, then head up into Arneham Land (if we can get permits) for another 2Quote:

So here's another clue - the hut was rebuilt about 2006 after fires destroyed the original. Oh and by thr way, when I said it was north of Adamsfield I meant the other side of Bass Strait - VicHigh country actually.
