Why ? all he did was talk about a cricket game. A game, nothing else. Why do we lift these people to a cult status. Are we missing something, or just following the Romans, give the people entertainment. And they will be happy.
He was a man, understated , humble, a team player, and respected by all who knew him. Undefeated as Captain of the Australian cricket team. With a wonderful attitude to life, and an example to all Australians how to live a good life. You are missing something, and I genuinely feel sorry for you. Bob
