I wouldn't be surprised if the cops find a few bits of quilt and a pile of ashes down the road as frictions a Bitch.
One bloke I work with rides bikes and had a slide, no injury just bit of damage to his bike. As he was wearing kevlar jeans, he was ok but the notes.in his wallet part melted together.

I guess they hadn't stolen that particular model of car before and were unaware of just how small the boot was.
Or maybe they are just plain stupid.

I know the owner of the Servo, he is an independent operator, he is just trying to make and honest living, unlike those scum that robbed him.

I agree with some of the comments , let's hope they get caught soon . I was surprised at the amount of stock that he held . $30,000 was mentioned , that's a lot for cigarettes for a small trader to hold ! I hope he is insured !!.. Jim ...

Unfortunately most either don't get caught or get a slap on the wrist (aka a fine/community service)

*edit. Excuse my pessimism, I spent a whole day in court the other week seeing crooks/lawyers deny/twist/mitigate their way out of any real punishment. Oh and who's got my bike?

I think the $30 k was the total of all the heists were, they hit a lot of places over a short time. But considering packs of cigs are over $10, I presume?
500 packets would be $5K. The doona was pretty full though.
