SubscriberI know there's no such thing as a bad investment when it comes to LRs :wink: , however, I would like to learn from other people's "mistakes" when it came to buying accessories/upgrades/others, such as winches, tyres, air compressors, oil, bullbars, (even vehicles) etc...
Basically a list of things that aren't worthwhile considering shelling out $$$ or effort for [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif[/img]

I'm not sure that the maxi-drive axles my mate had put on were really necessary. When he did a shocky quite early on he had the whole thing re-done in Bilsteins. I think he may have been a bit of a soft touch where his Defender was concerned. I'm not complaining mind you as I bought the vehicle from him. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif[/img]
I am also aware that knowledgable experts here speak highly of these mods. I'm sure they are good but....
