Walkers is part of the new Bunyip closures.

As of the Queens B'day weekend it will be closed permanently.

If he does not find any we only have about 1.5 hours (if that) of driving some great tracks. Thats if they are not doing any work on them during the week.

i think its prep to send in the logging trucks, micks going to ring the ranger in that area to see if any more gates or closures will be going on this week.

OK guys heres the low down.

As Justin said Track next to saw mill at the end of Guide House Rd has been dozered shut from both ends. Permanent closure.

Britannia Range track has been graded and is shut at the gates between Portas Rd and Mt Bride Rd.

Other graded areas include Mineshaft hill area.

Burn Rd is open and ungraded.

Track oposite the Mt Bride Rd end of B Range track (Ruddy creek track?)has been graded is is closed at the gates.

I didn't check Ellis track. It may still be alive. I will go for a look tonight after work.

Dont know what to tell you guys. This weekend may turn out to be a bit of a stuff around looking for something to do.

what about bunyip do you know this area if all else fails.

Here's a little more detail.

Britannia range has been graded but only from Portas Rd to Mt Bride rd. The section from Bundaleer Rd to Portas is still intact as of yesterday afternoon.

Coppin Track is ungraded and open.

Justice track is open and ungraded as is Cumming spur track.

Had a bit of a look around the Powelltown area. Not alot of interest there. I was only looking on the Gladysdale side of Powelltown though.

For those coming up on the saturday morning we can still do the tracks I have mentioned above. The first section of Britannia range is interesting and will test the leaf sprung vehicles. Cumming spur is also a good one if done from the Justice track end going to Cemetery track/Mt Bride rd.

As I mentioned earlier I will check on Ellis track tonight if I can.

Either way we can still have a few beers!
