Totally agree his assistant is very easy on the eye and i m hooked i m not a hugh sci fi fan but i will watch it each week. Also i m glad they kept the dodgy 60s sound effects as well it adds something to the show

    Cheers

He He he I loved it.

Billie Piper is pretty nice, eh ?!

I loved the fact the new show has expensive CGI cheap rubber monsters; as opposed to cheap rubber monsters

Did anyone see the article in the Sunday Mail (and probably other papers) about the Daleks :?:

Apparently the DVD release of the new series has been rathed 'not for children under 12' in the UK because....

    wait for it.....

it "shows the use of violence to solve problems"

For chrissakes, what is the world coming to.

Whatever you do don;t let the kids watch the documentary channel. They might see one on WW II and it seems we used violence as a solution to Nazi invasion.

Interesting, saw it for the first time on Saturday, seemed quite dark compared to previous series, which is a good thing really, sort of like the new Battlestar Galactica which is very dark and gritty.

'Fraid Billy Piper doesn't do much for me. Weird eyebrows and bottle blonde hair....... :?

It's not a matter of what she does for you but what she does TO you.

Yeah I love the new BG (its very interesting to think about the whole 'War on terror' thing when watching it. The parallels cannot be a coincidence).

And the new darker doctor has got my vote. I love it.

He carries some "bitter and twisted".

With that baggage he is almost human so it will be interesting to see how the character develops.

I caught the end of the episode the other night and was trying to work out where i had seen the good doctor before. Then i realised its the bad guy from Gone in 60 Seconds. Matt
