    Fingers crossed for you.

We've just been getting the edges of all this weather, the river here still isn't running and April was double the average.
A mate in Maitland tipped out 250mm from 4hrs rain two weekends ago and Dungog received 380mm I was told when those houses washed away.

It's all getting a little too common.

I spent a few hours in at the Caboolture Warbirds Museum brooming out water that had blown in,and wiping down aircraft, had to go in via Old Toorbul Point Rd and then down the Bruce hwy.as Bribie Rd was still flooded.

Hey Dave,I saw that bus come down the road through the window didn't look at the vehicle in front

    cheers

Relations left Brissie at 2pm Friday intending to beat the traffic on way to Maleny. By 7pm they had only reached the Bribie Island turnoff, so went over the overpass and turned back. Said many cars idled so long while stopped they ran out of fuel. Others had flat batteries and couldn't be started. Sat morning there were still long delays so we detoured via Woodford instead. Unbelievable volumes of water had gone through in numerous places. Deaths were very sad.

Big thanks to Dave for the offer of space at his workshop Friday night as I was in the area with family and camper heading to Caboolture for the Urban Country music festival. We ended up cooking dinner in the camper at Caboolture BP car park and then headed home when we got confirmation the weekend was off. Ended up having to camp at the top of my own driveway as the creek in our property was a meter over the bridge. About a 9hr round trip from South Maclean to (almost Caboolture) but we did it safely and got home which is all that matters at the end of the day. Thanks again Dave.
