Graeme from Impact Auto's told me yesterday that there is a very strict protocol with A&B. They list a series of tests which must be carried out to the letter and a report back to them. If this is not done, A&B immediately void their warranty and the onus goes back onto the installer.
One of the tests seems to be along the lines suggested by Dave in that the volume of coolant going through the lines is carefully measured, I can only assume this is done as per Dave's suggestion.
Needless to say, Graeme has assured me that he'll be doing it all 'by the book'.
He did tell me that he has already run compressed air both ways through the cooler and there appears to be no restriction. He also said that once the testing was complete, if there was a need to replace lines, or the cooler, that this would be done. All at Numpty's expense of course.![]()
