    Spotters fee?

I got rid of some 220 ltr drums of chip fat today. Bloke turned up to take the drums away. Took one look at the old ute and said ah a series three. Yep another Land rover owner. He has a 1950 series one eighty inch chassis with a 1951 body mostly restored. But for some unfathomable reason he did not know of aulro So I enlightened him on the benefits of the site, for which he thanked me for and hopefully he will check the site out. Apparently one item he is looking for is the horn button in the center of the steering wheel.

When my new AURLO sticker arrives , I'll do a new pose with the Mutt on the 109 and send it off to Classic Land Rover mag and see if that drums up any more interest.
    cheers,

Those of us who use this site are obviously at least minimally computer literate. But we often forget that there are still people, particularly older ones, who are not, and in fact never do anything on computers, and have no interest in doing so. I seem to remember that only about 60% of homes in Australia have any sort of internet connection, and even of those that do, it is often only one or two out of three or four people living there who use it. And many internet users only use it for a few specific purposes, and don't think of using it otherwise.

While this is probably a minority, it is still a large minority, and it is certain that it will include a lot of Landrover people.
