Years back when I was cooking at a cub do. I was offered a glass of lime cordial because I was getting hot. Typical me...I just took a big swig and swallowed... yuk!!! The boys got one on me. It was a glass of water with washing up detergent in it. YUK!!

I know this is a bit off topic but the above post reminded me of an incident about 29 years ago.

There was a tube of Savlon cream on the ledge beside the tube of tooth paste.

I bet Savlon tastes worse than dish washing liquid. This was a work day and I was still trying to get the taste out of my mouth at morning tea time.
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

Are they? From what I can find, consumption of Cadbury chocolate has dropped over the last few years, as have most chocolate companies, but I can't seem to find anything that shows they're running in the red.

They made $127 Million profit the year before last, but can't find much on where they are at now.

Their reduction in block size back to 200g back in Feb ****ed me off - after all that hu ha back in 09 when they went from 250g to 200g, then 'generously' increased the size up to 220g in 2013, while all the time keeping their prices the same or increasing them.

Would hate for them to disappear as thier chocolate is better than most American offerings but not as good as some European stuff.

Better stock up on the Vegemite Chocolate by the sounds of what most people are saying here - looks like it might be on borrowed time..

I heard they were moving away from the "Dairy Milk" formula. They probably want to get us used to the American taste.

Any long established food/drink supplier changes the taste of their existing products at their peril - remember Coke trying this.

Was watching an old episode of 'The Vicar of Dibley' last night. The old lady that's always making weird food served chocolate cake smothered in marmite. Maybe she was actually onto something.
