I had 1 hour to kill on my way back from a client and popped in at Land Rover Artarmon .. took the D3 TDV6 for a spin ... there is no way you can tell it's a diesel .. what a sweet ride it is. Had a chat to the sales bloke (and I take this with a pinch of salt), they ordered 18 TDV6's and have sold 15 before they arrived 8O Go the D3

there was one driving along davies rd this afternoon...it turned into a street just after the M5.......

it looked the the underslung spare wheel had some sort of plough around it to stop it getting dirty....

I think the development of an after market swing away gate will not only bring the spare up from the dreaded Toyota position but actually may improve the look behind. I find the look at the back a bit confronting so far.

Well I saw one yesterday coming down the motorway from the sunshine coast (I was on my way to the stealer for a little warranty issue  )

Plus they had a silver TDV6 demonstrator, which unfortunately I didn't get to have a go over as it was outside in the rain, so I just read the D3 magazine about the development program from day one, and before I knew in less than an hour the lovely service dept receptionist was handing me back my keys 8O

So my clacking metal on metal noise was actually a seperating drive belt 8O 8O replaced under warranty without a question asked, which considering the car is a 99 model with 138K on the clock I was very impressed with their service, oh the stealer was Pacific Land Rover at Maroochydore. two thumbs up from me 8)

I see one in my garage every day

Seriously, its a bloddy nice vehicle to drive and the confronting front and rear makes it a real head turner.

Rear wheel carrier would be a very nice to have and so would some off-road tyres
