I found Telstra very good to deal with on this,.....always find Telstra good, ..ALWAYS been with them!
Anyway, if you don't think you're getting a good deal, ask to be put through to their "solutions" section, apparently they have greater authority to do deals?...We didn't need to!!
All I'll say is, if you love your V8s, you'll LOVE it.
    All good, Pickles

Glad you got something to suit you.
I'll be interested to hear what you think after watching your first V8 Coverage, although there will be other V8 stuff on before then.

I've never been to Hidden Valley, but everyone that I know that has, absolutely loved it.
Glad you had a "V.I.P." Tour!

A few years back, we bought the basic package (compulsory) with the sports package so we could watch the A-League soccer (got sick of chasing live feeds that didn't work). Well, we get the A-League all right (every game), but also a lot of interesting motorsport but the real pay off comes elsewhere - a lot more of the crime shows the kids like, the kids shows which my daughter has only just grown out of, motoring shows (such as Car SOS, Wheeler Dealers, etc), the History channel which I like, extra movies (though not many there, you have to pay extra for them), the survival shows which my son enjoys (in part, most of the yank stuff is rubbish), nature shows which we all enjoy, true crime. As time goes on and, I guess, competition hots up, they're adding more channels which has expanded what we get.

Oh, and the Bio channel has been giving the 'life story' of top groups from days gone by. Fascinating to watch Cream, Manfred Mann, Fleetwood Mac, etc talk about their early days.

For a family that typically does not go out and so this our entertainment, it's proven to be pretty good value. Rarely do we go back onto FTA.

Mind you, I also spend a lot of time reading books.
