Big Red a bit smaller?
I went over Big Red in April ,pre easter w/e and it appeared to have lost quite a few metres , especially so on the northern end.
I actually couldn't get up the southern end....got about 2/3 up the face.
Has anyone else been up it and noticed?
The park season wasn't open so there were hardly any tracks from the western approach.
I met a couple of vehicles who had been up ahead of me and they didn't even think it was actually Big Red that they had driven onto......and questioned me if it actually was Big Red.
anyone else been there before and noticed the difference?
btw , when I was there 2yrs ago we had about 15 vehicles on the eastern lip lined up for a photo......you couldn't put 6 there in April.

Sure you are not getting confused, there is now a little red and the real big red is a couple of k's to the north. If you head off across the desert now you will go via little red.

no, no confusion.
my question was if any one had been over since and had they noticed the difference.
