Hmm, that's a big branch that fell down overnight and landed on the new fence.
Of course, the chainsaw won't start - I shoulda bought an electric.
I see the problem....too many staghorns growing in the branches.....
In the top pic,if it falls much further there may be one less dog around:(
I am having a 'discussion' with my neighbour as there is a spotted gum,4m from our house,30M high:o:( ,in his property
The base is over 1200mm in diameter.....
tree felling is expensive :(
In this situation,thats his problem,the last huge one i had felled that was close to his residence,but on my property, cost me $3.5K:(,including having it chipped up and the large logs removed.
It was over 25M high.
I do know an arborist who does weekenders,watching him climb these trees is amazing.
He will drop them and then cut them up in firewood lengths,but won't move them or chip them up.Thats for me to do,which i don't mind.
They'd probably have a preservation order on them where I live. :(
