Hmmm.....got pulled up by motor cycle cop this evening while driving the bushpig,( my perentie). Reason??? Wondering why he couldnt pick up my perentie with his radar gun. I laughed. I said its got radar absorbing paint from the military. He believed me. I know that mobile radar detectors dont pick it up. Still picks me up on fixed cameras coz it works on the contacts under the road. I had a little giggle to myself after he left.

Reminds me a bit of the UK story a few years ago, true or not I don't know. A cop allegedly pointed his radar gun at a passing Phantom Jet as you would. The reactive protective devices on the ac apparently came into play & supposed to have blown his gun to bits.

A good story, probably riddled with technical arguments but I liked it. Weapons Officer... "Gotcha you bastard".
