    Keeping it simple is complicated.

But you can with the ball from an IBM "Golf ball" electric typewriter.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

It's a **** place to work at the moment
Could be worse. The plumbing under the hospitality kitchen at work exploded during the last Christmas holidays and blew a big hole in the concrete floor. Took two months to fix. Turned out it had been leaking for a long time and undermining the whole building. The toilets were also out of action as they lost their water supply. Caused a lot of mutering, crossed knees and hurried walks to another building.

At least you have a toilet at work. We don't get supplied with toilets inside our train cabs. It can be a loooooong trip from Sydney to Newcastle, or Sydney to Lithgow. Sometimes, the only thing spurring us on to run to the timetable is the toilet facilities at the terminus.

Seems to work for truckers and mountain climbers. Just read Bear Grylls book Facing Up about climbing Everest. Apparently one of the biggest problems is being able to use the bottle when its so cold that liquid freezes almost immediately.

Speaking of cold, I just had a coffee and I'm still freezing. I know I'm being a wimp, but its not supposed to be only nine degrees at 10am on a sunny day in Brisbane! I moved up here to get away from that stuff.

No not a wimp. It is only 8 C over here in sunny (raining) WA. I left Scotland among other places to get away from the cold, & can honestly say the only place I have ever felt warm most of the time was 9 years in Singapore, & we used to complain when it dropped to 24 degrees. I think it is all relative.
