Eight years ago I was on a Mediterranean cruise. My wife and I sat with a young English couple who were perfectly understandable with little trace of any accent. I said that I had discovered why the British nation was in decline. No-one spoke English, just 47 different dialects. They laughed and said that if they drove 10 miles to the next village they couldn't understand them

That's OK. We bananabenders from Godzown can tell the blowins by their failure to end every sentence with 'hey' (or 'eh').

If crows ever figure out how to open wheely bins we'll be in a big mess.
They worked out how to eat cane toads without getting poisoned, so they are smart.
If we could just train them to eat fire ants..

I hope the builders across the road can read there plans and technical details better than their watches. They started work again today before the 630 am permit . At least I was up already , the other morning the precast driver was busy playing with his chains , dragging and dropping them on the trailer deck at 530 am.
