No he said to park our assets in a super accumulation fund and reduce the income we draw from super so I qualify for a full pension. I expect to find out on November 11 if that strategy worked, but he said we're well under the asset limit, so it should not be an issue.
I recently talked with a bloke who complained about not getting a pension because he has too many millions in assets. I said that problem was easy to fix - give some to me! He didn't like that idea.![]()

Oops! Ran over his own Toyota ute. That should make for a humorous insurance claim.
"My ute was parked, minding it's own business, when suddenly a gigantic mining truck driven by myself ran over it. "
Wonder if the insurer will pay out. Or will his insurer sue Rio Tonto for allowing him to run over his own ute?

Not worth a thread, but I know AULRO is just packed with sensitive New Age progressive people (because that's just the way us LR owners are) so I thought you might like to know where to attend your nearest Invasion Day event on Monday.
A list is below. Enjoy.
Personally, none of them are near me, so I might just go to Barnesy at the Maleny Hotel on Australia Day arvo for a bit of Working Class Man.

I did think about that, but where is politics mentioned? It's just a list of public events.
There are also stalls and food trucks.
Wonder if the food served will be same as was served in 1787 or has it improved because of Settlement?
They can't have it both ways.
Just sayin'.
