Off topic,in the off topic thread.

Years ago I went with my father to release a Wedge tailed eagle at a property near Dalby. It was a youngster from the area when originally taken from a nest by persons unknown. We looked after it for a couple of years, actually, probably three.

We let it go and it was back at our place by the time we got home,in Brisbane.Eventually it ended up at the servo on the corner of the Esk turnoff off the main highway, just west of Ipswich,to join a couple of others the owner had,in cages.

Your probably right, but I was a youngster in those days and can’t remember his name.
I do remember the other Wedgies He had were darker and therefore a lot older. The young ones are more golden.

I beg to differ, Ian. I do believe that current information would lead us to believe that testing crocodiles in relation to humans, would be detrimental to the latter.

Perhaps Corrective Services could look into this more?

Seriously, speaking of Milks Baby Eczema can be a real problem, not only when they are littlies but also as they get older.
We found Goat's Milk was wonderful & cleared it up nicely. I tell you, it nearly came to Baby Homicide & Baby Bashing. Our next doors at the time kept Goats so we tried it. (??????) This was back in the days when anything like this was treated as "Quackery". Now it is sold commercially in Supermarkets.
Anyone else experienced this amazing change in Babies when Goat's milk was used in lieu of Cows Milk?

    Ditto my first partner, Steve.
They had a goat dairy near Dural when she was young and as far as they knew they were the first to culture and sell flavoured goats milk yoghurt in Australia.

I remember her saying many mum's came directly to them for their bubs, Des and they sold to all the health food stores in Sydney.
I think this was the late 60's/early 70's.

    After Market Line Trimmer Blades.

Just a word of warning that these metal blades are advertised as fitting any line trimmer. I can categorically state ' With the exception of a Stihl FS 55RC.' See pics of the spline.
Also, there's no provision to mount the safety guard which could make things a bit dodgy, too.

Thanks Rick. Yes sort of was about the time we first used it, circa 1964-ish.
