Unless I have no time, or I'm going OS, I much prefer to drive. I was only on those flights because I had fractured my T6 vert, and driving the OKA home was out of the question. And I had to go back up and get the thing when my back had settled down some.

Reminds me of a funny story my mate had to do job at some outback/regional town, his company said not to worry as he wouldn't have to drive as they'd booked him on plane, he thought this was great would be a short flight, unfortunately the plane stopped at several little towns along the way, took ages and was uncomfortable with all the take offs and landings.

My brother lives in Rocky. His occupation requires him to fly to Longreach, collect the 'Company Car', which is a set-up for remote travel Prado, and visit several Western towns and districts, including Birdsville.
To get to Longreach, he first flies Rocky to Brissie, then Brissie to Longreach.
