I doubt some of those casting these aspersions would pass an audit on their own personal life. What's that saying? Those who have not sinned, cast the first stone? Sleep well tonight, haters. Bob
Supposition is rife that his son was on an Ice binge killing spree, or other hearsay. I'm just suggesting something, not saying it's true. The current suggestion is his son has murdered him, that is all without much detail obviously. Not slandering the guy, but it does happen.

I'd pass an audit on my own life thanks. I've been through some things in my life that have had a big impact on the way I interact with others, and I chose through hard work to cope with such problems and not project them onto anyone else. I don't always succeed. So, yes, but for the grace of god go I (hate that saying being an atheist, must find something new). I'm not perfect by any measure.

Just think there might not be much sympathy for the son right now. Maybe he was pushed to breaking point, maybe he did kill him in a fit of rage, maybe he didn't find the love, the help, the attention he needed. Either way the outcome is the same, broken families.

Can only hope now that this brings the issue into the public domain

Doubt it,a footballer got away scot free today after splashing people with petrol and trying to set them on fire, what would happen if you or I were the ones who did it?,bet we wouldn't be able to stand in front of news camera's telling everyone how sorry we are, must be hard for the poor little princesses when they aren't the center of attention anymore. Mekon, I appreciate your honesty. Each and every one of us,, has our own particular burden to carry. It's how we carry that burden, that defines us as human beings. Thank you for being human. Bob
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

You're right Bob. I didn't take anything personally just my two bob worth to the conversation. It is true what you say. The true self is the way you are in your own company when no one else sees.

The world seems to have such a me, me, me attitude sometimes. The sad truth is not everyone is honest to themselves and when the real and public appearance doesn't align anymore, well, it all falls apart really.

I just love honesty in people, even if the truth is ugly, at least you're not hiding it.
